Our inquiry is rooted in one simple idea: that all human endeavors fall on a spectrum from “life” to “art.” this framework may sound overly simplistic, but you’ll find that it captures the complexity of the world surprisingly well.
If we’re to argue that all human creation is essentially a form of art, then would it be too far to consider that everything that is produced by human imagination and ingenuity, including scientific and mathematical concepts and their practical applications a form of art? even the most empirical and technical forms of human endeavor require some degree of imagination, creativity, and innovation.
As we engage in future dialogs, we hope to explore these topics further, considering their place on the spectrum and how they relate to our overall proposition. By understanding the spectrum that is "life" to "art," we can gain a deeper appreciation for the many ways that human endeavors contribute to our existence and our sense of purpose.
At the heart of our mission is a commitment to challenge people to think, to spark new insights, and to encourage growth and development. Our aim is to engage in thought-provoking conversations with interesting people from varying backgrounds, providing our viewers and listeners with a diverse range in perspectives to evaluate and ponder.
"Art is not what you see, but what you make others see."
- Edgar Degas
